Mon–Fri 7:00am–6:00pm Hotshots 24/7

Hotshot & expedited

A dedicated van, leaving as soon as you hang up

Hotshot means your freight rides alone, straight from pickup to delivery, no other stops. We keep a cargo van and driver on call around the clock for parts, equipment, documents and anything else that cannot wait for the scheduled truck.

Typical hotshots: a hydraulic pump from a Minot dealer to a combine near Weyburn, a valve from a Regina supplier to a lease site south of Estevan, a pallet from Saskatoon to Bismarck overnight. If it fits in a cargo van and it is legal to cross, we will move it.

  • Dispatch answers 24/7, 365
  • Van and driver typically rolling within the hour
  • Canada and U.S. wide, any distance
  • Live updates by text from pickup to drop

How it works

Four steps from your dock to theirs

  1. 1

    Tell us about the load

Call, email or use the quote form. Pickup, delivery, weight, dimensions and when it needs to be there.

  2. 2

    Get a firm price

Dispatch quotes the same business day. Hotshots are quoted in minutes.

  3. 3

    We handle the paperwork

Send the commercial invoice. We file the customs entry with your broker before the truck rolls.

  4. 4

    Delivered, with updates

The driver texts at pickup, at the border and at delivery. Proof of delivery follows by email.

Customers

Trusted on both sides of the border

We have a standing pickup with South Port. Parts ordered from Minot on Monday are on my counter Wednesday morning and I never have to phone about the border.

Darren M. Parts manager, ag equipment dealer, Weyburn

They pick up from our dock every morning and our Minot customers have it the same day. Same driver, same time. That consistency is worth a lot.

Karla S. Owner, industrial supply, Regina

Combine went down at 6pm. Called South Port, the part left Minot at nine and was in the yard before midnight. Harvest kept going.

Trevor B. Farm operator, Radville area

Hotshots to lease sites at odd hours and they always find the road. Dispatch actually answers, which is rarer than it should be.

Jason W. Field supervisor, oilfield services, Estevan

Our Canadian shipments used to be a headache. South Port sorted the paperwork with our broker once and it has been routine ever since.

Lynn P. Office manager, manufacturer, Minot ND
